Job description
Job Overview
We have developed an innovative tool and system designed for smart workplaces, aimed at addressing critical workforce challenges. We are seeking a Business Development Growth Partner to remotely engage with top-level executives, CEOs, HR managers, and leaders across New Zealand to introduce and promote this solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and establish connections with CEOs, senior executives, decision-makers, and HR managers.
- Effectively present our workforce risk management solution and support the sales process through to contract signing.
- Operate independently by managing your own sales pipeline and opportunities.
- Develop long-term business relationships and growth opportunities within New Zealand and Australia.
Role Context
New Zealand workplaces now host four to five generations working simultaneously. Senior employees are approaching retirement, taking years of organizational knowledge with them, while few organizations have proper succession strategies (with 80% lacking real plans). Our platform identifies hidden workforce risks and delivers clear 12-month strategic action plans and resources to address them.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales or business development across corporate sectors and diverse industries.
- Confidence in engaging senior leaders and decision-makers.
- Preferably possessing your own professional networks with the ability to cultivate new ones.
- Excellent self-management skills, as this is a remote, autonomous position.
Additional Advantage
Prior contacts or relationships with corporate clients, government agencies or public sector entities in New Zealand or Australia are a significant plus but not mandatory. The crucial factor is your ability to build strong client relationships and successfully close sales.
Compensation and Opportunity
This position is commission-based with substantial upside potential. Joining at an early stage in New Zealand offers the chance to contribute meaningfully and expand into the Australian market. The role allows for flexible scheduling alongside other engagements.
