Role overview

This position is for a field-focused business development professional in Bengaluru. The role centers on identifying prospective business customers, creating qualified sales opportunities, and supporting the broader sales and consulting process for a company offering ERP, CRM, HRMS, automation, and digital transformation solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Visit potential business clients across Bengaluru, including manufacturers, educational institutions, distributors, retail outlets, healthcare organizations, and service businesses.
  • Develop qualified leads through on-ground visits, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and local market study.
  • Arrange product demos and business meetings for the senior sales and consulting team.
  • Present the company’s ERP, CRM, HRMS, automation, and digital transformation offerings to prospective customers.
  • Keep the CRM updated with lead details, meetings, follow-ups, and sales-related activity.
  • Develop lasting relationships with owners, directors, administrators, and other key decision-makers.
  • Study competitors and share market insights with management.
  • Work toward monthly targets for lead generation, meeting bookings, and sales support.
  • Partner with implementation and consulting teams to help ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
  • Represent the organization professionally at client sites, industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.

Who can apply

Requirements

  • Previous exposure to B2B sales, field sales, software sales, ERP sales, educational sales, franchise sales, or industrial sales is preferred.
  • A smartphone is required, along with comfort using CRM or mobile apps for reporting.
  • Having a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities are important for this role.
  • The candidate should be self-driven, goal-oriented, and ready to travel within Bengaluru.

Compensation

The annual pay range for this role is INR 3,00,000 to 6,00,000.
