The Business Development Executive in Dubai will lead and implement Novargi's business development initiatives throughout the Middle East. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and supporting sustainable growth aligned with Novargi's global vision. A commercial mindset combined with a strong grasp of engineering services in Oil & Gas and energy sectors is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Middle East business development strategy aligned with global objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business prospects in Oil & Gas and energy-process engineering projects.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor behavior, and client investments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Establish and nurture enduring relationships with clients, EPC contractors, licensors, technology providers, and partners.
  • Serve as the primary commercial liaison during initial project stages.
  • Represent the company at regional meetings, conferences, industry events, and networking platforms.
  • Lead commercial proposals, pre-qualification submissions, and bidding processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Support contract negotiations alongside senior management and legal units.
  • Ensure proposals align with technical strengths, commercial goals, and risk policies.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams for smooth sales-to-project transitions.
  • Coordinate with headquarters to synchronize regional opportunities, forecasts, and strategy.
  • Prepare and present routine reports on sales pipeline, performance, and market insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields); Master's or MBA is advantageous.
  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in business development or commercial roles within Oil & Gas or energy engineering sectors.
  • Successful track record in EPF/EPC project development and engineering services sales.
  • Established network in Oil & Gas, energy, and industrial markets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project life cycle from development through execution.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial insight with strategic and operational thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation expertise.
  • Leadership qualities and a collaborative, results-oriented approach.
  • High autonomy, proactivity, and accountability.
