Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule discovery meetings with B2B clients, site owners, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities.
- Handle initial qualification of inbound and outbound sales leads to assess potential.
- Support the progression of leads through the sales funnel to "Qualified-to-Buy" and "Deal-Won" statuses.
- Assist Business Development Managers with client follow-ups, proposals, and communication to drive sales forward.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in the HubSpot CRM system, ensuring all sales opportunities are updated with appropriate follow-up actions, expected close dates, and relevant deal information.
- Monitor the sales pipeline to identify and address stalled or outdated opportunities to maintain pipeline health.
- Help prepare sales reports and dashboards as needed to provide insights into sales activities and performance.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries within agreed timeframes, fostering strong relationships.
- Conduct routine check-ins with clients to promote retention and encourage repeat business.
- Facilitate smooth internal handovers between sales, projects, and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide administrative assistance to the sales team and maintain professional standards in all documentation and correspondence.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements of sales processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, coordination, or business development roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with B2B environments and CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot, is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent service through multiple communication channels including written, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in CRM data entry, sales reporting, and written communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work onsite at the Newmarket office in Auckland five days a week.
