Business Development Advisor, Retail Development

Role overview

As the Retail Development Advisor, you will be the primary owner of retail network data and will coordinate project delivery support for a range of retail development workstreams. These include the Destination Porsche CI programme, the multisensory strategy, new retail formats, and workshop capacity planning. Your contribution will help ensure every initiative is completed within the required timelines and in line with brand standards, supporting Porsche Cars GB in delivering a consistently strong retail presence across its network.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main custodian of all retail network information, including capacity, investment details, and project schedules, so the wider business has reliable information to work with.
• Work closely with Porsche AG, brand architects, and other appointed suppliers to keep retail development projects progressing smoothly, including preparing Destination Porsche submission packs, tracking approvals and milestones, and supporting the launch of future retail experience programmes.
• Oversee the Porsche Strategy Guidelines (PSG) variable dealer margin process, including upkeep of the documentation, handling dealer appeals, and managing quarterly dealer margin payments.
• Coordinate the retail facility standards audit programme and help ensure the network remains aligned with brand requirements.
• Support the introduction and rollout of new retail concepts and future-facing retail formats.
• Maintain shared access to accurate retail network data within Porsche Cars GB to support internal planning and decision-making.
• Prepare summary packs for dealers and investors to support review meetings and discussions.
• Keep dealer network master data accurate, current, and readily available at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing several projects at the same time, ideally in retail, automotive, or property development settings.
• Strong capability in maintaining master data accurately, monitoring project progress, and handling shared data and information systems.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Clear understanding of data protection obligations and corporate governance expectations.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders, dealer partners, suppliers, and external audit teams.
• Comfort interpreting capacity, investment, and performance data to support business decisions.
• Useful background in dealer networks, facility standards, or OEM retail programmes.
• Experience helping to deliver new concepts, formats, or brand experience rollouts.
• Knowledge of dealer margin schemes, investment planning, or commercial agreements.
• Awareness of corporate identity standards, retail design principles, or multisensory brand experience.
