Job Overview
This role involves leading the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program across the Bank of Jordan's Saudi Arabia branches, focusing on developing, implementing, and maintaining resilient operational strategies aligned with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the BCM program throughout the Bank of Jordan’s operations in Saudi Arabia.
- Develop and regularly update frameworks, policies, and procedures related to Business Continuity and Operational Resilience, ensuring alignment with regulatory mandates and industry best practices.
- Lead Business Impact Analysis, risk assessments, and crafting of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery plans.
- Ensure organization-wide readiness by conducting periodic testing, crisis simulations, and driving ongoing improvements in continuity and recovery capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance with SAMA regulations, ISO 22301 standards, and other applicable frameworks.
- Stay informed on new regulations, industry trends, and best practices to recommend enhancements for boosting operational resilience.
- Support incident and crisis management efforts to guarantee uninterrupted operation of critical business services.
- Generate reports and key performance indicators related to business continuity and resilience for management review.
- Champion a culture of preparedness by conducting training, awareness sessions, and providing advisory support across the organization.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in Business Continuity or Risk Management, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Preferable professional certifications such as CBCI, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or Auditor, or CBCP.
- Proven expertise in conducting Business Impact Analysis.
- Thorough understanding of BCM, Disaster Recovery, and ISO 22301 standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements set forth by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
- Excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications and internal organizational systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of internal and external policies and regulatory compliance frameworks affecting the business.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to perform well under pressure.
