Job description

About the Company

InvoiceCloud is a prominent fintech organization distinguished by a substantial number of industry accolades in 2025, including top workplace honors and notable recognitions for excellence in financial technology. The company is celebrated for its commitment to innovative solutions that promote digital inclusion and support streamlined payment processes for essential services. InvoiceCloud prioritizes responsible innovation and operational resilience while fostering an environment for professional growth.

Role Overview

The Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) Analyst will contribute to strengthening InvoiceCloud’s resilience strategy by advancing programs that ensure rapid recovery from disruptions impacting services, technology, or business operations. This requires partnering with stakeholders across engineering, infrastructure, product, and security teams to perform risk assessments, develop and validate recovery plans, and champion continuity best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead business impact analyses (BIA) by identifying vital processes, systems, and interdependencies, and defining acceptable thresholds for downtime, ensuring alignment with customer and business risk requirements.
  • Craft, verify, and maintain recovery objectives and strategies (RTO/RPO) for essential services, ensuring backup and resiliency measures satisfy recovery goals, and coordinate gap remediation efforts.
  • Lead and document structured testing initiatives, including scenario-based drills, technical simulations, and after-action reviews, to reinforce and demonstrate resilience readiness.
  • Prepare and maintain actionable BC/DR plans and playbooks, ensuring they are tailored to roles, kept up-to-date, and integrated with incident management processes.
  • Orchestrate ongoing governance, managing the schedule for plan reviews, annual tests, corrective actions, and leadership updates to mature the continuity program.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships to incorporate resilience parameters into cloud architecture, operational runbooks, and design standards.
  • Utilize standard documentation, tiering models, and reporting to enhance clarity, audit-readiness, and efficiency across resilience activities.
  • Apply scenario modeling and analysis to detect potential business disruption points, dependencies, and resilience blind spots, and incorporate insights into program improvements.
  • Employ AI and automation tools to drive governance, streamline corrective action tracking, and accelerate reporting for improved transparency in resilience metrics.
  • Stay current on evolving industry resilience standards and adapt controls as necessary for sustained operational robustness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Risk Management, Business Analytics, or a similar discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Three to five years of hands-on experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, or related risk management areas.
  • Proficient in conducting BIAs, and defining and validating RTOs and RPOs.
  • Familiarity with leading continuity frameworks such as ISO 22301 and NIST SP 800-34.
  • Experience in developing, updating, and managing continuity/disaster recovery documentation and playbooks.
  • Track record of organizing and facilitating tabletop exercises and technical recovery simulations.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, backup methodologies, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Demonstrable documentation and organizational skills, with ability to coordinate across diverse teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, ISO 22301 Implementer, CISM, CISA) are advantageous.

Additional Information

  • The company offers equal employment opportunities, upholding a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination and ensuring inclusive hiring and workplace practices for all.
  • Applicants requiring special accommodation during the recruitment process may request adjustments as needed.
  • Recruitment agencies are requested not to send unsolicited candidate submissions, as fees are not acknowledged for such.
