Role Summary

Pinnacle Group seeks a highly analytical Business Analyst to develop and maintain data analysis and visualizations that will empower program leaders to make well-informed strategic choices. The successful candidate will be a catalyst for change, managing the incorporation of innovative concepts effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to assess information demands and functional requirements.
• Engage in planning, needs assessment, and risk evaluation stages.
• Advise stakeholders on optimal approaches to leverage technology in support of data utilization.
• Synthesize large datasets into succinct presentations highlighting business opportunities and strategies for leadership.
• Deliver actionable insights during monthly and quarterly program review meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline. Familiarity with foundational accounting or finance principles is advantageous.
• At least two years of experience handling data management and performing analysis involving databases, preferably within Fortune 500 companies or top-tier consulting firms.
• Proficient in creating analytics visualizations, particularly using Tableau, alongside intermediate to advanced skills in databases and T-SQL.
• Experience designing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.
• Knowledge of programming languages and tools such as Python, C#, PowerShell, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Visual Studio is a plus but not mandatory.
• Capable of preparing and delivering presentation decks to external audiences effectively.
• Skilled in developing insightful dashboards and reports that facilitate business decisions and drive results.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong technical competence in data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling collaboration across all organizational levels.
