Business Analyst

Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and strategic Business Analyst to join our remote team. The selected individual will collaborate with stakeholders to discern business requirements, analyze operational processes, and deliver insights-driven solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency, decreasing costs, and fostering organizational growth.

Primary Duties

• Collect, analyze, and document requirements from various stakeholders.
• Convert business needs into detailed functional specifications, workflows, and user stories.
• Assess existing business procedures and suggest actionable improvements.
• Perform market, operational, and financial analyses to guide strategic choices.
• Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and related process documentation.
• Work across product, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to deploy solutions.
• Track key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate business outcomes.
• Assist in testing, implementation, and change management processes.
• Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations aimed at decision-making.
• Recognize risks, dependencies, and potential opportunities for optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
• Two to five years of experience in a Business Analyst role or a comparable position.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent reporting software.
• Experience in gathering requirements and maintaining process documentation.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Capacity to operate effectively and autonomously in a remote work environment.

Preferred Credentials

• Professional certifications including CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or ECBA.
• Familiarity with project management and team collaboration platforms like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Asana.
• Understanding of business intelligence and data analysis principles.
• Previous involvement in sectors such as fintech, healthcare, SaaS, e-commerce, or consulting.
• Experience working with geographically distributed or global teams.
