Role Overview

The Business Analyst Team Lead (Engage) is a pivotal hands-on leadership position tasked with guiding our Business Analysts to deliver superior analysis outcomes for our Engage and myhub platforms. This role collaborates closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to define initiatives, solve complex challenges, and ensure the delivery aligns with tangible business benefits within a scaled Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive business analysis for multifaceted, cross-departmental projects.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Owners to develop roadmaps, epics, and feature sets.
• Articulate clear problem definitions, requirement specifications, and expected business outcomes.
• Produce high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, and data flow representations.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint scheduling, and PI planning sessions.
• Ensure that requirements are precise, verifiable, and aligned with business value objectives.
• Coach and manage a team of Business Analysts including performance reviews, 1:1s, and professional growth planning.
• Set objectives, expectations, and key performance indicators for the Business Analyst team.
• Build a collaborative, high-achieving Business Analyst community fostering consistency and quality.
• Develop and enhance BA practices, templates, and methodologies across teams.
• Champion stakeholder engagement best practices, elicitation, and Agile analysis principles.
• Mentor team members on advanced facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship techniques.
• Act as a critical connector between Product, Technology, Business divisions, Architecture, and Data teams.
• Support decision-making processes by identifying risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Embed Business Analysis capabilities within Agile pod structures supporting end-to-end delivery, from discovery to release.
• Proactively identify and report risks, gaps, and delivery impediments while advocating for continuous process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 8 years of experience in Business Analysis within Agile environments.
• Documented success in leadership roles such as Lead BA, Principal BA, or BA Manager.
• Extensive collaboration experience with Product, Technology, and Data teams.
• Proven ability to develop and lead high-performance teams and influence senior leadership.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks including Scrum and SAFe.
• Competence in backlog creation, grooming, and project delivery planning.
• Practical experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process modeling, and data analysis.
• Capability to formulate clear, structured, and value-driven business solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management.
• Background in financial services or wealth management platforms is preferred.
• Exposure to data analytics platforms and AI application in analysis or delivery is advantageous.
• Experience working within pod or stream-aligned Agile teams is desirable.
