Role Overview
The Business Analyst position within the sales operations department delivers critical support across various IQSIGHT business areas. The role involves creating business intelligence and analytical tools to enhance visibility and comprehension of key sales performance metrics. It also focuses on refining or automating internal workflows like data collection, processing, and reporting. The analyst will undertake operational tasks to uphold specific business procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial and business analysis models along with sales reporting.
- Track and investigate key performance indicators (KPIs) and their driving factors.
- Maintain and update existing automated reporting systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through automation and standardization.
- Handle ad hoc sales analysis requests as necessary.
- Act as a strategic partner to management teams and various business units.
- Perform recurring operational duties related to business processes.
- Ensure adherence to pertinent corporate policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and critical reasoning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
- Team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to assisting others.
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritize workloads.
- Meticulous attention to detail while respecting confidentiality.
- Capability to work independently without supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and other databases.
- Experience with scripting languages for automation.
- Background in database administration and management.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
Additional Information
The U.S. annual salary ranges from $85,000 to $95,000, determined by factors including experience, expertise, job complexity, and location.
