Where you'll work
Job description
About the company
Adyen is a global financial technology platform that brings together payments, data, and financial products in one solution for customers such as Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The company is built around ambitious problem-solving and operates at the intersection of payments and technology.
Role overview
As a Business Analyst focused on Pricing, you will support the financial health of Adyen’s card payments business across APAC. Your work will center on understanding interchange and scheme fee structures in different markets, helping ensure merchants are charged accurately while pricing remains transparent and scalable.
You will collaborate with teams across Product, Engineering, Finance, Partnerships, and Commercial to analyze large datasets, identify opportunities to improve pricing accuracy, and strengthen payment operations in a fast-changing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Make sure merchants across APAC are billed the most accurate and favorable cost price for their transactions.
- Study large volumes of data to spot patterns, respond to business questions, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and enhance pricing logic and rule-based models, including approaches for monitoring and detecting unusual activity.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to improve core payment and pricing workflows, including opportunities to automate manual steps.
- Help implement fee and pricing updates while protecting the quality of the pricing system and the merchant experience.
- Turn complex analytical findings into practical recommendations for internal stakeholders.
Candidate profile
You should be comfortable working with data, solving technical problems, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. The role calls for strong attention to detail, a high standard of accuracy, and the ability to manage several priorities in a busy environment.
What to expect
Adyen aims to respond to candidates within 5 business days. The interview process usually takes around 4 weeks, although timing may vary depending on the role. Candidates may request flexibility if needed.
Work location
This position is based in the Singapore office. Adyen follows an office-first approach and emphasizes in-person collaboration; remote-only working is not available.
Equal opportunity and inclusion
Adyen values diversity of background and perspective as a core part of how it solves business and technical challenges. The company encourages people from underrepresented groups, including women, to apply even if they do not meet every qualification listed, and welcomes applicants to bring their authentic selves to work.
