Overview
We are recruiting a skilled Business Analyst to facilitate policy and governance initiatives within the Financial Services sector in Dublin. This role involves partnering closely with leadership and other stakeholders to analyze and map business processes, support new policy rollouts, and ensure operational risk management aligns with governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and document the processes involved in implementing policies across the organization.
- Conduct workshops to extract and record detailed business requirements from relevant parties.
- Create visual process maps representing current systems and proposed improvements to streamline workflows.
- Assist in embedding updated policies into day-to-day operational activities ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Monitor, document, and escalate operational risks, outstanding issues, and dependencies to senior management.
- Produce comprehensive business documentation such as process flows, requirement specifications, and gap analyses.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Project Management to guarantee successful execution of projects.
- Contribute to governance reporting activities and champion ongoing process enhancements.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience functioning as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services industry.
- Proven skills in business process mapping, detailed analysis, and managing operational change initiatives.
- Background in supporting policy enforcement, governance measures, risk management, and regulatory updates.
- Effective in stakeholder engagement with the ability to facilitate workshops and clearly articulate business needs.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with Operations, Risk, and Compliance units.
- In-depth knowledge of governance structures and operational risk reporting mechanics.
- Strong communication skills, excellent stakeholder handling capabilities, and robust analytical aptitude.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Jira, and Confluence is an advantage.
