Job description
Role Overview
The Business Analyst is responsible for examining an organization's structure and workflows to understand and optimize its business processes and technology integrations. This involves evaluating the existing business model, identifying customer needs, and outlining improved future scenarios or business solutions by researching and synthesizing diverse information sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead team efforts to achieve project objectives.
- Take ownership of team decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams on critical project issues.
- Provide problem-solving support within the team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance for their professional growth.
- Identify process inefficiencies and promote continuous improvement initiatives through actionable recommendations.
Professional & Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in Personal Insurance domain is essential.
- Experience working with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, DuckCreek, Majesco, or eBaotech.
- Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge gaps between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and validation to ensure thoroughness and clarity.
- Capability to model business workflows and processes to aid in solution design and implementation.
- Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking skills to tackle complex business challenges.
Additional Details
- At least 7.5 years of relevant experience in the Personal Insurance domain is required.
- The role is a full-time position located at the Bengaluru office.
- Minimum educational qualification is completion of 15 years of full-time education.
