Role Overview
The Business Analyst will function within a cross-disciplinary team to analyze organizational requirements and convert them into precise, actionable directives tailored for digital solutions. On a daily basis, this involves gathering detailed business requirements, enhancing and mapping business processes, and working closely with designers, developers, and project leads to align solutions with stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to elicit business needs and objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive functional specifications and documentation.
- Support efforts in testing and validating digital product features.
- Provide analytical insights to guide product development roadmaps and enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytic capabilities with proficiency in analyzing data trends to produce actionable insights.
- Hands-on experience in business analysis including eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills enabling stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
- Proficient in business process mapping and optimization aligned with digital product development workflows.
- Knowledgeable about agile or hybrid project methodologies and familiar with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experienced in working within digital product environments like mobile applications, websites, or gaming platforms.
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work schedule combining onsite presence in Redfern, NSW for the first six months with flexible remote work thereafter.
Work Arrangement
This is a contract-based position located in Redfern, NSW, operating under a hybrid model that blends onsite teamwork with flexible home-based work to maximize productivity.
