Business Analyst (m/w/d)

Role overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join mbi’s team in Wetzlar/Hüttenberg. The position focuses on shaping sophisticated software products in a collaborative and appreciative work environment. The role is offered as a permanent position with a standard workload of 35 hours per week and can also be arranged on a part-time basis. The earliest possible start is immediate.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex topics and work out practical solutions for questions related to software products, working closely with customers, product owners, and the internal development team.
• Capture client requirements for the software development process and convert them into clear user stories.
• Work hand in hand with software developers and customers in agile teams to keep communication smooth and project execution efficient.
• Support development sprints by helping clarify business or technical uncertainties.
• Depending on the project, contribute to technical documentation and software testing tasks as well.

Profile and qualifications

• A completed degree in business information systems, business administration, or a similar field is required.
• Professional experience with software solutions and familiarity with agile methods and tools such as Scrum, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence are an advantage.
• You work independently, accurately, and with strong analytical thinking.
• You bring technical understanding and can explain complex topics in a clear and structured way.
• You are a strong team player with very good communication skills.
• Reliability, independence, and an organized way of working are important in this role.
