Business Analyst

About the Role

PT Hailiang Nova Material Indonesia is inviting applications for a Business Analyst position based in Berlin, Germany. This role is designed to connect business objectives with technology solutions, emphasizing analytical precision and attention to detail. The incumbent will play a key role in gathering and clarifying business requirements, examining and improving processes, and contributing to the success of projects and strategic plans.

Core Responsibilities

• Collect, document, and analyze requirements from various business stakeholders.
• Assess existing processes, systems, and workflows to find enhancement opportunities.
• Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and other essential business documents.
• Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and operations teams to implement effective solutions.
• Conduct data reviews, business performance evaluations, and process audits to facilitate informed decisions.
• Lead meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather insights and align goals.
• Support aspects of project management such as planning, testing, deployment, and managing change.
• Develop business cases, reports, and presentations for executive audiences.
• Perform gap analyses, root cause investigations, and impact assessments related to business initiatives.
• Assist with user acceptance testing to verify that solutions meet business needs.
• Monitor project results and suggest continuous improvements.
• Maintain comprehensive business documentation and process flow records.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in business analysis or related fields such as operations, consulting, project coordination, or data analysis is preferred.
• Strong analytic and critical-thinking skills coupled with problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including facilitation.
• Proficiency in gathering, documenting, and interpreting complex requirements.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word alongside business documentation tools.
• Familiarity with platforms like Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Power BI, or Tableau is advantageous.
• Knowledge of business process modeling, project management methodologies, and system deployment is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in an agile workspace.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related discipline is preferred.
