Job Summary
This role is for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for capturing business needs and turning them into analysis that supports strategic decision-making. The position is described as having a hybrid-style work model with no travel expectations, offering a more balanced work setup. Responsibilities
- Apply a strong payments business analysis skill set to support delivery work.
- Bring senior-level experience in business analysis, quality assurance, and managing end-to-end delivery for complex initiatives.
- Convert complex business needs into requirements that are clear, actionable, and testable, while keeping business, technology, compliance, and external partners aligned.
- Own solution delivery from requirements gathering through testing, implementation, and post-go-live support, with close attention to risk, regulatory requirements, and operational readiness.
- Validate test outcomes on complex payment platforms to confirm correctness, compliance, and deployment readiness.
- Coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams, vendors, tools, and environments to keep delivery moving.
- Spot defects early in the delivery lifecycle, investigate root causes, and drive closure with relevant teams.
- Work with high-value payment systems, messaging, and settlement methods including Canada Lynx, SWIFT, and Fedwire.
- Use MS Office, Agile practices with a Product Owner mindset, shift-left testing approaches, and collaboration tools such as Jira, JTMF, and Confluence.
Requirements
- Strong background in business analysis for payment-related work.
- Experience in quality assurance and end-to-end solution delivery for large or complex programs.
- Ability to translate multi-layered business requirements into testable documentation.
- Hands-on experience validating test results and supporting release readiness.
- Comfort working across business, technology, compliance, and vendor groups.
- Knowledge of defect triage, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Understanding of high-value payments, settlement processes, and related messaging systems such as Canada Lynx, SWIFT, and Fedwire.
- Practical experience with MS Office, Agile delivery, shift-left testing methods, Jira, JTMF, and Confluence.
