Overview
This permanent full-time position based in Midtown Manhattan involves working 3-4 days weekly on-site with a hybrid work arrangement. Only local candidates residing in New York City or New Jersey are considered, and applicants must be authorized to work on a W2 basis in the US without employer sponsorship.
Role Summary
The Associate in Business Management for Investment Banking offers a distinctive combination of business analysis, project coordination, and internal strategy aimed at enhancing the Investment Banking business management function. You will focus on promoting technological change for bankers by advancing process improvements across several areas including artificial intelligence, customer relationship management (CRM), data governance, proprietary banking applications, and vendor oversight.
Your responsibilities include collaborating directly with senior leadership, coordinating efforts with technical teams, eliciting business requirements, monitoring project progress, supporting user acceptance testing, improving the integrity of CRM data, and ensuring successful execution of critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface with senior management to align business and technological objectives.
- Gather and translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and workflow processes.
- Coordinate and potentially conduct user acceptance testing for new software features and tools.
- Track progress of deliverables to ensure project milestones are met.
- Drive enhancements in CRM data quality and integrity.
- Support technology transformation projects incorporating AI, CRM, data governance, and vendor management.
Requirements and Skills
- Approximately five years of professional experience in business analysis, project management, or technology roles specifically within investment banking or capital markets.
- Proficiency with financial services technology tools, CRM platforms, data analytics, or dashboard/reporting software.
- Demonstrated ability to convert complex business needs into structured documentation such as requirements and user stories.
- Experience managing or participating in user acceptance testing cycles.
- Knowledge of and interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technology solutions.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools for reporting purposes.
