  • Participate in solution walkthroughs and validation sessions to verify alignment with documented requirements and business operations.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing by helping to create test scenarios, validating results, recording defects, and monitoring issue resolution collaboratively.
  • Contribute to change management efforts by documenting updates, assessing impact, and communicating changes alongside senior analysts.
  • Engage in client meetings and workshops, accurately recording decisions, assumptions, risks, action items, and pending questions.
  • Estimate effort for analysis tasks, proactively communicate blockers, identify gaps, raise scope concerns, and signal schedule risks.

Technical and Interpersonal Skills

  • Practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery frameworks.
  • Basic understanding of Property & Casualty insurance operations such as policy administration, billing, and claims processing.
  • Experience with business analysis and backlog management tools including Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps (ADO), and JIRA.
  • Awareness of API integration, automation, and cloud technologies; familiarity with AI, machine learning, or predictive analytics is advantageous.
  • Excellent written communication capable of producing organized, clear documentation.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills to effectively bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset with problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to improvement.
  • Self-driven with ownership mentality, adaptability to shifting priorities, and a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of business analysis experience, preferably with exposure to Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Entry-level certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, ECBA, or CCBA are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with insurance platforms like Duck Creek, Guidewire, or BriteCore is preferred.
