Job description

Role overview

Cisco is sharing this posting for a role that may open now or in the near future. If a matching vacancy becomes available, a Cisco recruiter may reach out after you submit your application. Applications remain open until the position is filled.

This position can be performed remotely from within the United States, depending on business needs and approval from the hiring manager.

Team and mission

You would join a diverse, collaborative environment where teams work across functions to solve business challenges, improve processes, and explore new ways of working. The role offers exposure to experienced professionals and values fresh ideas and perspective.

What you will do

In this position, you will help design practical solutions for real operational issues. You will partner on cross-functional initiatives, identify opportunities to improve internal workflows, examine data and process gaps, and surface benefits from introducing new business capabilities. Your work will contribute to stronger operations and better collaboration across the organization.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking with sound judgment, a strong customer-first approach, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Clear communication, teamwork in a global setting, good time management, and a structured, process-improvement mindset are all important for success.

Minimum qualifications

You should meet one of the following education-and-experience combinations: a completed certification or relevant degree program finished within the past 3 years, or currently in progress with expected completion within 12 months, plus 1 year of relevant experience; or a high school diploma plus 2 years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree with no prior relevant experience. Relevant study areas include Business, Supply Chain, Communications, Mathematics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a similar field.

You must also be capable of collecting, preparing, and statistically analyzing large datasets and converting findings into practical business insights. In addition, you should be experienced in identifying, gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements so they align with business goals. You must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where you apply, without needing visa sponsorship or support.

Compensation and benefits

Pay is location-dependent and based on factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, and market conditions. For some locations, Cisco has published the following annual ranges: New York City Metro Area: $80,000 to $117,200; Non-Metro New York State and Washington State: $70,700 to $103,200. For quota-based sales roles, the stated range includes base pay plus sales target incentive compensation.

U.S. employees may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) with company matching; paid parental leave; short- and long-term disability coverage; and basic life insurance. Additional perks may include restricted stock unit grants after continued employment for a defined period.

Paid time off may include 10 paid holidays each full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees; 1 paid birthday day off; a paid year-end shutdown; 4 paid wellness days; 16 days of paid vacation per year for non-exempt employees; flexible vacation for exempt employees; 80 hours of sick time at hire and each January 1; carryover of up to 80 unused sick hours; extra paid time away for critical or emergency family matters; and up to 10 paid volunteer days per year.

Employees in non-sales roles may also qualify for annual bonuses under Cisco policy. Sales-plan employees may receive performance-based incentive pay in addition to base salary, with quota-based and non-quota-based components governed by the applicable plan.

Additional information

The role has no fixed closing date stated in this posting. Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, participate in a separate time-off arrangement to satisfy local requirements.
