Role Overview

Coforge is hiring a Business Analyst focused on Hardware Asset Management (HAM). This is a remote contract opportunity for a professional with 5+ years of experience in ITAM/HAM, ServiceNow, and Excel.

What You’ll Do

Track hardware assets through every stage of their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, and retirement.
Review asset information in spreadsheets to spot trends, missing details, and inconsistencies.
Prepare recurring reports covering inventory status, asset usage, and request progress.
Enter, revise, and maintain records in ServiceNow asset management and ticketing modules.
Follow up on asset requests and keep request status and workflow updates current in ServiceNow.
Check that data remains complete and accurate across reporting tools and systems.
Work closely with IT, procurement, and operations teams to verify asset details.
Help build dashboards and stakeholder-ready reports.

Required Background

5 or more years of relevant experience.
Strong command of Excel or similar spreadsheet tools, including pivot tables, data cleansing, and reporting.
Working knowledge of Hardware Asset Management or IT Asset Management concepts.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or another ticketing platform.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
Comfort working with large data sets and keeping information well organized.

Preferred Profile

Prior exposure to ITAM/HAM processes or related tools.
Experience supporting dashboards and data visualization efforts.
Understanding of asset lifecycle tracking and inventory management systems.
