Role Overview
As part of the Data Analytics team, you will transform business data into valuable insights using Power BI reporting and dashboards. Collaborating with Retail, Finance, Operations, and Marketing departments, you will develop reporting solutions, conduct business performance analyses, and support data-informed decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Execute data validation, reconciliation, and ensure data quality.
- Analyze business metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Work alongside stakeholders to gather and refine reporting needs.
- Document reports, dashboards, and data models thoroughly.
- Support continuous improvements to the Power BI reporting environment.
- Assist with data preparation and transformation using SQL and Power Query.
- Contribute to analytical projects spanning Sales, Finance, and Operations.
Candidate Profile and Skills
The ideal candidate is a detail-driven analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to accuracy. They communicate effectively and build collaborative relationships across teams to drive successful outcomes.
- Experience or exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar business reporting tools.
- Understanding of data modelling principles and best practices in reporting.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other analytical programming languages.
- Motivation to pursue professional certification, specifically the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), within six months of joining.
