Job description
Role Overview
Acting as the crucial intermediary between client requirements and the delivery team's output, this position demands precise communication and thorough documentation to ensure alignment between business needs and technological solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of how processes function in reality, not merely as intended, and will exhibit curiosity, organization, and a focus on addressing the client's fundamental challenges rather than just the apparent issues.
Primary Responsibilities
- Capture comprehensive business needs by conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, and walking through processes.
- Create detailed mappings of current ('as-is') processes and develop feasible future ('to-be') workflows focused on practicality and implementability.
- Convert business requirements into well-structured and clear specifications to guide the delivery team effectively.
- Ensure that developed solutions effectively resolve the initially identified problems through validation steps.
- Prepare and lead workshop sessions in collaboration with client teams to gather and refine requirements.
- Detect potential gaps, inconsistencies, and risks within requirements early to minimize delivery complications.
Required Qualifications and Expertise
- Between 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in roles such as business analyst or functional consultant.
- Proficiency in requirements engineering, including conducting interviews, composing clear user stories, and developing organized specification documents.
- Expertise in process analysis and improvement, capable of diagnosing broken workflows and designing enhanced alternatives.
- Preferred experience in domains such as digital marketing, marketing technology (MarTech), customer relationship management (CRM), or marketing operations.
- Exceptional written communication skills that ensure documentation is actively utilized rather than archived.
- Experience interacting directly with clients, skillfully managing workshop facilitation and expectation handling without unnecessary escalation.
