Business Analyst - FinTech SaaS

About the Role

Our client, a top global FinTech SaaS provider, is expanding their EMEA team following a recent significant investment. This growing company of over 1000 employees values professionalism and long-term employee tenure. The role involves working remotely with monthly visits to their Buckinghamshire office.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document detailed business functional requirements using methodologies such as use cases and user stories.
• Convert product management goals into comprehensive functional designs, business scenarios, and testing plans.
• Effectively prioritize various projects with a strong focus on organization and precision.
• Adhere to design standards and lead the business analysis efforts for assigned projects.
• Provide Development and QA teams with clear functional design documents.
• Ensure the developed solutions meet business needs and design criteria.
• Create detailed test scenarios and validation steps to confirm correct implementation of requirements.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience specifically in Working Capital, Asset Based Lending, or Asset Finance sectors.
• Preferably over 3 years exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC) and software project involvement.
• Technical proficiency including the use of SQL queries or equivalent tools to analyse system designs and issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish effective client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to attentively understand customer requirements and deliver insightful business solutions.
