Overview

We are seeking two seasoned Senior Business Analysts to contribute to a pivotal national digital health initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare outcomes by leveraging technology, data, and integrated digital services. This role, aligned with APS6 equivalency, offers a 12-month initial contract with potential for extensions and hybrid working options, available in NSW, ACT, or QLD.

Role Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and appraise conformance and testing specifications.
  • Execute and analyze conformance testing across diverse vendor platforms.
  • Facilitate and monitor observed testing events, supporting vendor representatives.
  • Maintain precise and auditable records of test outcomes.
  • Investigate technical and business challenges, proposing viable solutions.
  • Support quality assurance, compliance checks, and data auditing procedures.
  • Participate in risk evaluation and management processes.
  • Develop and nurture robust partnerships with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Assist with strategic planning, project execution, and business enhancement projects.
  • Evaluate process efficiency and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Offer expert advice and support for various programs and projects.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst or in a similar advanced analyst role within complex ICT settings.
  • Proficiency in developing and assessing test cases and frameworks.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
  • Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Experience in quality assurance, governance, compliance, or data auditing.
  • Knowledgeable in applying risk assessment approaches.
  • Intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Visio, Excel, and Word.
  • Capable of independently managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in healthcare, digital health, or health technology sectors.
  • Background in conformance testing and compliance programs.
  • Experience working within governmental or regulated environments.
