This position serves as a central link between Sales and Planning and will also prepare management-level analytical reports.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Commerce, or Data Analytics is required. The role calls for 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Prior exposure to the HVAC industry or manufacturing is strongly preferred, and experience in project planning is also highly desirable.
Skills and capabilities
The position requires strong knowledge of process improvement, operations, and logistics management. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP is essential. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, analytical, and able to think critically. Strategic planning ability, comfort handling multiple priorities and deadlines, and skill in preparing presentations and analytical reports are important. Key responsibilities
This role includes monthly forecasting of billing and booking with detailed analysis, along with preparing quarterly order booking forecasts for Procurement, Production Planning, and Sales Planning. The analyst will share monthly booking splits with the Sales Director and coordinate follow-ups with MSPs and OPT to support monthly targets.
Additional responsibilities include following up on SMT updates with ASMs/MSP, finalizing lead times with Sales Planning each quarter, supporting the Sales team on short-delivery and premium orders, and ensuring delivery confirmations. The role also involves checking sales orders for multipliers, budget numbers, and related details, preparing monthly and annual sales presentations, and working with the Sales Director on annual budget and target planning.
The analyst will share monthly, quarterly, and annual billing and booking forecasts with CCPD, conduct monthly backlog analysis, review modification requests from Sales, act as the main link between Sales and Planning teams, and coordinate with the Costing team on multipliers and pricing.
Quality and service standards
The position requires compliance with SKM quality standards and a commitment to delivering efficient, effective support to all stakeholders.
