Business Analyst - AI & Credit Origination

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our project team, focusing on credit origination and early credit warning systems. The role involves embedding within the team to perform functional analysis, explore data trends, and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional business analyst for credit origination and credit warning projects.
• Analyze existing processes to pinpoint prospects for AI integration and ensure AI deployment aligns with project goals.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to detect trends, patterns, and irregularities.
• Apply knowledge of associative data modeling, predictive and text analytics, classification, data exploration, and summarization to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business sponsors, project managers, data scientists, and technology partners to meet business objectives.
• Review deliverables from vendors to guarantee governance standards are met; enforce governance controls before transitioning solutions from 'Human in the Loop' to 'Human out of the Loop'.
• Identify opportunities to optimize AI performance for improved accuracy and increased productivity.
• Design visual representations and dashboards to effectively present insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of professional experience within the financial and banking sector.
• Deep understanding of wholesale banking domains and products, including customer onboarding, servicing, and data mart management.
• Preferable substantial experience in credit origination processes for wholesale banking clients.
• Demonstrated history of working as a Business Analyst in banking projects.
• Thorough familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Fundamental technical skills such as working with web applications, APIs, databases, SQL, and proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
