Position Overview

We are recruiting for a Bulk Selector role based in our Amherst, Nova Scotia warehouse, operating Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. This position involves receiving, storing, and relocating products safely and efficiently, while using specialized equipment under the supervision of warehouse leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to handle inventory.
• Verify order accuracy and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Use hand-held scanning devices to capture product information accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers, drivers, and purchasing staff to ensure smooth warehouse operation.
• Follow all established safety protocols strictly during all job tasks.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• At least three months of experience working in a warehouse setting.
• Preferred experience with equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks; willingness to obtain certification considered.
• The role requires regular physical activity including sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds manually when necessary.
• Work is carried out in an environment with moderate noise levels, requiring adherence to safety procedures to mitigate hazards.
