Building Technician

Role overview

We are looking for a Building Technician to support day-to-day maintenance and technical upkeep at a site in Singapore. The role covers routine servicing, minor repairs, troubleshooting, inspections, and coordination with vendors and users to keep facilities operating smoothly.

Key duties

• Carry out general maintenance work, including servicing equipment listed in Annex B, taking meter readings, supporting audio-visual needs when required, and keeping track of lighting and accessory inventory.
• Handle small repair and handyman jobs such as replacing light fittings and carrying out basic electrical fault checks.
• Complete minor carpentry tasks and touch up walls, ceilings, and other surfaces where needed.
• Perform technical fault-finding and basic diagnosis when issues arise.
• Coordinate, supervise, and support maintenance activities, working with users and vendors on reactive and preventive jobs such as air-conditioning servicing, cleaning, pest control, and horticulture.
• Inspect facilities daily in line with workplace safety requirements.
• Respond to urgent requests or breakdowns, attend to ad-hoc faults, and document the work completed.
• Assist with meeting room setup whenever required.
• Take on other technical services duties assigned by the client from time to time.

Experience and education

Applicants should have an N, O, ITE, or Higher NITEC qualification, or relevant experience as a Building Technician. A background of 1 to 2 years in air-conditioning systems is also expected.

Additional information

This position is based in Singapore and is a full-time, onsite role. The job may involve coordination with external vendors, maintenance scheduling, safety-focused inspections, and responding quickly to urgent site issues.
