About the Role

Join the Building Products Department at Mitre 10 MEGA Hastings, a vital part of the store's operations, where every day offers variety, engaging challenges, and the chance to make a tangible difference. As a valued team member, you will support both trade and DIY customers at our drive-thru and yard locations by accurately picking and preparing orders, maintaining well-stocked and orderly inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service consistently.

This hands-on position involves physically active tasks such as lifting timber and building materials, moving around outdoors, and collaborating within a friendly and supportive team environment.

Role Details

• Full-time position with a roster including some weekends, offering flexibility and diverse work experiences.
• Reports directly to the Department Manager.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a positive attitude accompanied by a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Customer service experience or knowledge of building materials and timber is advantageous.
• Hold a full Class 1 Driver’s Licence; F endorsement preferred but training is available if required.

Training and Development
