About the Role
This position is with Bright Horizons Grove Lodge Day Nursery and Preschool located in Burgess Hill. We are seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team, offering a unique combination of the flexibility of bank/agency work alongside the benefits and security of employment.
Key Responsibilities
You will be a vital team member caring for babies and children up to five years old. Your duties encompass creating engaging and educational experiences through play, reading, and various activities to stimulate children's curiosity and development while supporting your colleagues in tracking and fostering children's progress toward developmental milestones.
Candidate Profile
While previous experience working with children is preferred, it is not mandatory. Suitable backgrounds include roles such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder. Applicants should demonstrate enthusiasm for making learning enjoyable and tailor their communication to effectively engage both children and adults. Flexibility and adaptability in your approach to work are essential.
