Role Overview
This position sits within the corporate social media team and reports to the Senior Social Media Manager. The intern will help support Auberge Collection’s brand social channels and contribute to the broader social media strategy. The work includes day-to-day execution, community interaction, content support, reporting, trend tracking, and coordination across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Social Media Manager with everyday social media tasks, including editing Reels and TikTok videos and scheduling content.
- Help write social captions, with a particular emphasis on Pinterest and TikTok.
- Support Pinterest content planning and related publishing needs.
- Monitor and engage with the brand’s social community across channels, including replying to comments and other interactions.
- Contribute to monthly reporting by gathering metrics and insights from social media tools.
- Keep track of platform changes, technical updates, and emerging trends, especially on Pinterest and TikTok.
- Carry out monthly competitive reviews within hospitality, luxury lifestyle, and adjacent markets.
- Maintain the ARC content library organization in Dropbox.
- Support the team with general daily needs across all Auberge brand social media accounts.
- Help identify relevant trends, cultural moments, and competitor activities that may influence the brand audience.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a social media internship is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organized with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Genuine interest in social media and luxury lifestyle brands.
- Ability to spot social media opportunities that support current and future goals.
- Comfort using CapCut, Edits, Google Suite, Facebook Manager, Photoshop, Canva, Dropbox, and Excel.
- Interest in contributing to the social strategy of a luxury brand.
- Preferred availability is at least 3 days per week, totaling about 15 to 20 hours weekly, for a period of 4 to 6 months or longer.
Compensation
The role pays $17 per hour.
