About the Role

At GUAVA International, we are committed to making business a force for good. This internship pushes beyond mere instruction-following, offering ambitious students and recent graduates real leadership experiences in building initiatives with lasting impact. Interns collaborate closely with the leadership team on projects that unite stakeholders from the United Nations, governments, academia, and civil society to foster sustainability, wellbeing, and innovation in hospitality, travel, and tourism.

This role provides broad exposure across brand development, strategic partnerships, project coordination, and business growth, allowing you to transform ideas into tangible initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement branding and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage international creative projects alongside an overseas design team.
  • Produce presentations, graphic designs, and marketing collateral for digital, print, and live events.
  • Organize and facilitate events, showcases, and brand activations.
  • Assist in developing strategic partnerships and maintaining stakeholder relations.
  • Support sales and partnerships teams with campaign and business development efforts.
  • Oversee project timelines, stakeholder coordination, and deliverables to guarantee successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to operational planning and logistics for partnership and event initiatives.
  • Research trends to identify opportunities for new collaborations and campaigns.
  • Take initiative in driving projects forward, offering innovative ideas and bringing concepts to life.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates are proactive leaders passionate about bringing projects to fruition. Experience such as leading clubs, organizing events, founding initiatives, participating in leadership or entrepreneurial programs, or volunteering is highly valued.

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

  • Self-motivation and ownership mindset.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to face new challenges.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills across diverse groups.
  • Interest in branding, partnerships, entrepreneurship, and impactful initiatives.
  • A passion for sustainability, hospitality, travel, or purpose-driven enterprises.

While familiarity with creative tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous, enthusiasm, initiative, and the desire to learn are paramount.

Benefits and Growth

  • Engage directly with seasoned industry leaders.
  • Collaborate with prominent stakeholders across the UN ecosystem, governments, universities, and civil society.
  • Acquire practical experience in branding, partnership management, project oversight, and business growth.
  • Build a professional portfolio via real-world campaigns, events, and brand activations.
  • Develop essential leadership, communication, and organizational skills within a dynamic, entrepreneurial atmosphere.
  • Receive meaningful responsibilities from the outset, fostering tangible impact.
  • High-performing interns may earn the opportunity to transition into full-time roles with expanded leadership duties.

Additional Information

Priority will be given to candidates who can commit to a minimum six-month tenure. The internship is part-time and based onsite in Singapore. This program targets those ready to build beyond standard internships and take ownership in delivering impactful projects.
