About The Role

Join Gore Medical as a Sydney-based Marketing Communications Associate, driving the introduction of advanced medical technologies to the market. You will be instrumental in implementing impactful and compliant marketing campaigns by collaborating closely with Brand Managers, the Marketing Events team, internal stakeholders, and external agencies. This role operates in a dynamic and highly regulated environment supporting the Australia & New Zealand Medical sector.

This hybrid position requires working three days per week at the Belrose office and two days remotely from home.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Brand Managers to design and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned with global and regional strategies.
  • Utilize customer journey insights and segmentation to craft targeted assets and activation plans across relevant channels.
  • Produce and customize campaign materials, including exhibition booth setups, to assist product launches and regional marketing goals across the ANZ Medical divisions such as Cardiac, Surgical Solutions, and Vascular.
  • Create high-quality marketing content approved through Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) processes, ensuring compliance with branding and regulation standards.
  • Support coordination of media planning, logistics for campaign implementation, and analyze performance to provide actionable insights.
  • Lead marketing communications initiatives development and deployment across digital platforms and tools.
  • Review creative outputs from agencies to verify adherence to brand guidelines and approved briefs.
  • Monitor competitor marketing efforts and communicate findings to contribute to strategic planning.
  • Work with global and regional creative teams to adapt campaign materials for local market use.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and workflow scopes to guarantee delivery as per specifications.
  • Prepare project status reports, conduct status meetings, and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Facilitate regional event support by updating marketing assets such as banners and videos and coordinating promotional logistics including materials and apparel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing communications with a strong emphasis on digital channels.
  • Proven experience managing agencies or external vendors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of fostering strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Skilled at collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver campaigns and messaging that achieve business targets.
  • Understanding of Marketing Technology Stack and demonstrated ability to recommend data-driven marketing actions linked to measurable outcomes across web, CRM, sales channels, digital, email, and social media.
  • Strong multitasking, deadline management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, InDesign, and familiarity with tools such as Workfront, MS Project, and Veeva PromoMats or similar platforms.
  • Analytical capability to track and interpret campaign performance metrics.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated environments such as medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals.
