Role Overview
We are searching for a dedicated brand strategist to contribute to the growth of Origins globally. Reporting to the Director of Brand and Communications, this role will focus on steering diverse brand initiatives, including global campaigns, product launches, and a year-round content strategy. This hybrid position requires presence at our Liberty Village, Toronto office three days a week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage brand marketing plans aimed at increasing brand recognition, equity, and lasting customer loyalty.
- Lead campaign processes from idea generation, briefing, scheduling to execution.
- Refine and deepen understanding of Origins' consumer profiles and archetypes.
- Collaborate closely with teams such as Creative, Social Media, Communications, Digital Brand, and Digital Marketing to ensure unified and immersive brand messaging across all platforms.
- Create and maintain a content strategy and calendar tailored to Origins.
- Work alongside Copywriting to develop messaging frameworks supporting launches and consistent brand storytelling.
- Assist in executing live events and activations in collaboration with Communications teams.
- Conduct campaign reporting and analysis to provide key insights for future planning.
- Partner with Creative, Social, Product Marketing, and PR teams for cohesive storytelling aligned with brand values.
- Maintain consistent brand tone, visual identity, and positioning on a global scale.
Qualifications
- Between 4 to 7 years of experience in brand strategy, publishing, or cultural marketing, accompanied by strong editorial judgment and storytelling skills.
- Proven experience collaborating with creative partners or cultural institutions.
- Aptitude for working within small, cross-functional teams.
- Track record of delivering effective integrated omnichannel brand campaigns.
- Excellent communication capabilities, including the ability to craft strategic creative briefs from scratch.
- Confident presenter, able to communicate ideas clearly in diverse settings, both formal and informal.
Compensation
The expected base salary ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, depending on factors such as experience, skillset, educational background, and budgetary considerations. Geographic location may also influence the salary offered.
Additional Information
This role is based in Toronto with a hybrid work model, requiring office attendance three days per week.
