About Scrapples and Role Overview

Scrapples is dedicated to increasing fibre intake for children through clean, tasty snacks crafted from whole fruits, including wonky produce. Our goal is to serve 50 million portions of fibre by 2030. We proudly supply well-known retailers such as Tesco, Ocado, Co-op, and Brakes, with plans to expand internationally and launch in a second major retailer soon.

We are seeking a dynamic Brand Activation Executive to help bring Scrapples' story to life across social media, sampling events, retail activations, and brand partnerships. This role offers flexibility in working patterns, welcoming both full-time and part-time applicants, ideally working at least three days per week. Candidates will work remotely within the UK but will travel regularly to events and meetings in London and Hertfordshire.

Role Responsibilities

  • Create captivating social media content reflecting Scrapples' authentic brand persona, including behind-the-scenes, product launches, customer stories, and event highlights.
  • Lead and assist with nationwide sampling initiatives, retailer activations, and engaging community events while serving as a brand ambassador.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with aligned brands, retailers, influencers, and community groups to advance activation strategies and broaden Scrapples' reach.
  • Engage with consumers to collect valuable feedback and insights to enhance family connections and guide future marketing campaigns.
  • Support various creative endeavors such as product launches, influencer collaborations, photography, and content projects to accelerate company growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Approximately 12-18 months of prior experience in marketing, brand management, events, or FMCG sectors, though enthusiasm and attitude hold greater importance.
  • Energetic and positive personality with a passion for meeting people and advocating for excellent brands.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence in relationship-building and public interaction.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and hands-on approach to spotting opportunities and driving initiatives.
  • Creative mindset with proficiency in photography, video production, and social media content development, primarily using a smartphone.
  • Adept at working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced small company environment.
  • Motivated by Scrapples' mission to encourage greater fibre consumption among children.

Work Environment and Team

The Brand Activation Executive will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and Founder, backed by support from advisors and partners. This role invites real responsibility from the start in an encouraging, team-oriented atmosphere emphasizing initiative and collective contribution.

Additional Information

Location: Completely remote within the UK, with expected travel for events and meetings in London and Hertfordshire (St Albans).
