About the Role

This position is for a Branch Manager to lead a freight forwarding branch in Mumbai for an international logistics and supply chain organization. The role centers on branch leadership, commercial growth, and end-to-end oversight of freight operations across multiple product lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the branch team, ensuring effective people management and day-to-day supervision.
• Oversee branch operations and maintain control over profit and loss performance.
• Drive revenue growth through freight sales and broader branch business development.
• Build new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Manage ocean freight and air freight business across import and export movements.
• Handle custom clearance activity and support smooth shipment execution.
• Work with LCL and FCL shipments as part of overall logistics management.
• Strengthen branch-level operational efficiency and commercial outcomes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should have prior experience managing a branch within a freight forwarding organization. Experience in leading a sizeable team is important, along with ownership of branch P&L and responsibility for acquiring new clients across all four product areas.
