Role overview

The Boutique Manager will guide and motivate a team in a luxury jewelry setting to create outstanding client experiences and support strong business performance. This position is accountable for the boutique’s sales, client service, and day-to-day operations, while ensuring the space consistently represents the brand’s premium standards and reputation. The right candidate will bring polished professionalism, discretion, and solid knowledge of fine jewelry, along with a strong commitment to boutique excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct the boutique’s everyday activities and make sure standards for client service, cleanliness, visual presentation, and security are consistently upheld.
  • Provide exceptional luxury service by building strong relationships with VIP customers and ensuring the team delivers personalized, high-touch experiences.
  • Set the tone for performance by driving sales goals, team KPIs, and customer retention outcomes that support profitability.
  • Coach and develop staff on clienteling, product expertise, selling methods, and brand storytelling, including gemstones and materials.
  • Keep visual merchandising aligned with luxury positioning and seasonal brand guidelines.
  • Manage customer appointments, private events, and after-sales support with care, confidentiality, and precision.
  • Track inventory levels, oversee stock movement and transfers, and work closely with back-office and supply chain teams to maintain product availability.
  • Supervise daily financial tasks such as sales reconciliation, cash handling, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Address customer concerns and feedback in a discreet, refined, and solution-focused manner.
  • Compile and share weekly and monthly sales updates, team performance reports, and market observations with the Area or Brand Manager.
  • Plan staff schedules, monitor attendance and leave, and ensure adequate floor coverage during peak trading hours.
  • Promote a team culture built on luxury service, integrity, and collaboration.

Skills and qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in luxury retail, ideally within fine jewelry, watches, or premium fashion.
  • Proven ability in clienteling, customer relationship management, and personalized selling.
  • Good understanding of jewelry, gemstones, and related materials is beneficial.
  • Strong command of English and Arabic; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with discerning customers.
  • Well-groomed, professional, and emotionally aware.
  • Capable leadership style with a genuine interest in building team capability and morale.
  • Commercially minded, results-oriented, and strong at solving problems.
  • Comfortable using POS tools, retail analytics, and Microsoft Office applications.
