Role Overview
The Boutique Hotel Manager position is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations at The Zubeida. This includes directing front desk activities, guest services, housekeeping coordination, and maintaining food and beverage service standards. The manager ensures guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service, addressing inquiries, requests, and feedback attentively. Key duties involve managing staff schedules, supervising performance, and cultivating a collaborative, service-focused workforce.
Additional responsibilities include budget monitoring, supporting sales and marketing initiatives, managing reservations and occupancy, and ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and brand protocols to preserve the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
Key Qualifications
- Proven expertise in customer service and guest relations, capable of professionally handling inquiries, feedback, and special requests.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and basic financial reporting to facilitate efficient operations.
- Knowledge of hospitality sales strategies to drive occupancy and increase revenue.
- Understanding of food and beverage operations, including service protocols and collaboration with kitchen and service staff.
- Familiarity with receptionist functions such as managing reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, and front desk administration.
- Strong leadership skills for staff supervision, training, and performance management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude to prioritize effectively in a dynamic setting.
- Proficient communication skills in English, with additional language skills considered advantageous.
- Prior experience in hotel or hospitality management, especially in boutique or luxury environments.
- Preferred educational background includes a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related disciplines.
