Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position is for a Bouncer in Dubai. The role centers on keeping the venue secure and organized by overseeing entry and exit points, verifying identification according to local rules, and managing crowd movement. You will help maintain a safe atmosphere by observing behavior, conducting security checks, and stepping in calmly to prevent or reduce conflicts.
Key Duties
- Watch and control entrances and exits to support safe access to the venue.
- Check guest identification and ensure compliance with applicable local requirements.
- Manage guest flow so the environment stays orderly and controlled.
- Perform routine security screening and monitor for unusual or risky behavior.
- Respond to incidents professionally and help resolve issues without escalation.
- Work with management and other staff to uphold venue policies and safety standards.
- Coordinate with emergency services when a situation requires external support.
- Provide polite customer support, answer basic guest queries, and present a professional image for Lane88.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate can handle pressure, make quick and sensible decisions, and remain composed in fast-moving situations. A strong service mindset, the ability to communicate clearly, and a respectful approach to guests are essential. Prior exposure to hospitality, entertainment venues, or similar environments is preferred.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong guest-handling and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Exposure to physical security work such as access control, incident handling, and premises monitoring.
- Familiarity with personnel security or private security practices.
- Ability to stay calm, think quickly, and use sound judgment under pressure.
- Good physical stamina for standing for long periods, patrolling, and assisting during emergencies.
- Basic understanding of safety and emergency procedures; security or first aid certification is an advantage.
- Professional spoken English; additional languages commonly used in Dubai are beneficial.
- Previous experience in hospitality, entertainment, or a similar setting is preferred.
