Role overview
This role is for a Bose Brand Ambassador working with Creative Activation to represent Bose at JB Hi-Fi. The position is casual in nature but listed as a full-time job, with onsite work in Auckland, New Zealand. The role centers on increasing sales of Bose products across portable audio, home theatre, and headphones, while creating a strong in-store brand experience.
You will act as a key driver of product advocacy by educating retail staff and customers, demonstrating product features and benefits, and helping stores improve Bose sales performance.
What the role involves
- Represent Bose in-store and help drive sales of its consumer electronics range.
- Build relationships with store teams and customers to influence purchase decisions.
- Demonstrate product features, benefits, and brand heritage in an engaging way.
- Support the sales process across retail environments, especially during Thursday to Sunday shifts.
- Share product knowledge proactively to help create a high-performance sales culture.
What you need
- Availability on weekdays and weekends, with shifts primarily running from Thursday through Sunday.
- A positive, can-do mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence working across different retail settings.
- Good understanding of consumer electronics.
- An energetic, enthusiastic approach and the ability to work well in a team.
- For airport-based locations, ASIC accreditation must be applied for, and this includes a background check as a condition of employment.
- Retail or sales experience of 1 year or more is strongly preferred.
- Interest in technology and/or audio-visual products is also strongly regarded.
