Our Kilkenny office offers proactive accounting, taxation, and advisory services to many owner-managed businesses and small to medium enterprises. Bookkeeping services operate via a dedicated offshore team in India, supported by experienced professionals in Ireland.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled, energetic Irish Bookkeeping Outsourcing Manager to lead and oversee our bookkeeping outsourcing operations from the Kilkenny office. This critical leadership role ensures delivery of high-quality bookkeeping work, exceptional client service, and effective communication links between our Irish practice, clients, and offshore team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the offshore bookkeeping team in India, providing clear guidance, coaching, and support.
- Conduct regular team meetings and evaluate performance through reviews.
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes for new bookkeeping staff.
- Monitor and assess productivity, utilization, and overall team performance.
- Manage the complete bookkeeping workflow within the outsourced function, assigning tasks based on deadlines, complexity, and capacity.
- Ensure punctual and accurate delivery of all client work.
- Coordinate priorities between offices in Ireland and India.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, managing bookkeeping inquiries and operational communications.
- Understand clients’ processes and expectations to ensure high satisfaction.
- Oversee client onboarding and seamless transitions to the offshore team.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and compliance with Irish bookkeeping standards across all projects.
- Develop and update bookkeeping procedures and best practices.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements, including enhanced automation and cloud accounting solutions.
Candidate Requirements
- Experienced Irish bookkeeper with solid practice background.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and inspire an offshore team.
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
- Proficient in planning, process improvement, and operational problem-solving.
- Confident communicator, comfortable coaching team members and interacting with partners to enhance service quality.
