Position Overview

Join Dyno Nobel as a Blast Crew Member at our 24/7 Curragh site near Greater Perth. This role offers a competitive base salary of $90,000 annually, a nightshift allowance, and superannuation benefits. Employees operate on an even 7 days on, 7 days off roster, with accommodation options including camp housing or local housing in Blackwater or Emerald.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • Perform blasting operations safely and efficiently in a mining environment.
  • Prioritize blasting schedules and operational tasks with flexibility.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and demonstrate strong understanding of safety systems.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate as a positive, supportive team member.
  • Utilize site-specific software and demonstrate good computer literacy.

Candidate Requirements

  • Operational experience as a Blast Crew member within a mining context.
  • Australian Driver’s License; ideally Queensland HR License (Open or B Condition).
  • Current Queensland Security Clearance Card – SSAN (essential).
  • Standard 11 certification (desirable).
  • Forklift (HRWL) License (desirable).
