About the Role
This position is for a biology expert who will contribute to training AI systems. The work focuses on testing chatbot responses, judging how well their reasoning holds up, and identifying ways to improve model quality.
What You'll Do
- Pose advanced biology questions to AI chatbots and review their answers.
- Assess model outputs for accuracy, logic, and overall performance.
Background Needed
The role requires expert-level knowledge in biology. Strongly related areas such as biology or biochemistry are also relevant.
Qualifications
- Strong English fluency at a native or bilingual level.
- A careful, detail-focused approach to work.
- Solid understanding of cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, and experimental methods.
- A Master's degree and/or PhD that is current, in progress, or completed is preferred, though not mandatory.
Contract Terms and Working Style
This is an independent contractor role. You can select the projects you want to take on and decide when you work. The role is designed for flexible scheduling on your own computer, from your own home. Only candidates located in New Zealand will be considered.
Pay and Payment Details
Compensation starts at USD 40+ per hour, with bonus rates available on some projects. Payment is processed through PayPal, and any USD-to-local-currency conversion will be handled by PayPal. You will never be asked to pay any money to participate.
