Role Overview
This is a remote hourly contract opportunity for a microbiology specialist. The work is centered on analyzing microbial behavior and contributing scientifically accurate input that supports AI training and dataset development.
The position is offered at $40 to $60 per hour, with an expected weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.
What You’ll Do
- Examine how microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi grow, develop, and behave.
- Investigate the connections between microbes and disease in support of AI model training.
- Assess how antibiotics and other substances affect microbial systems.
- Record experimental observations in a way that can be used in AI training datasets.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain scientific correctness.
- Offer subject-matter guidance on microbiology concepts and interpretation of findings.
- Use structured evaluation methods to judge data quality.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
- Deep knowledge of microbial systems, especially bacteria and fungi.
- Solid understanding of microbial structure, physiology, and behavior.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Careful attention to detail and commitment to scientific accuracy.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting.
- Prior experience documenting scientific processes and research findings.
Additional Information
