Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned BIM Manager to lead, implement, and manage digital project delivery (DPD) strategies throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-contract phases to delivery and handover. This permanent, full-time opportunity is based at our head office in Citywest.
Key Duties
- Assist the pre-construction team by examining tender documents, including Works Information and Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR), to determine client BIM and digital requisites.
- Conduct technical assessments of 3D BIM models submitted during tender stages, verifying federation, performing engineering validations, clash detection, logistics, and cost estimation.
- Facilitate the preparation and execution of project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP), and Model Production and Delivery Table (MPDT), ensuring awareness of responsibilities across internal and external project participants.
- Co-lead digital project delivery kickoff sessions with Information Managers and project teams to finalize DPD strategies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to BIM Engineers as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in multi-disciplinary project environments adhering to BIM Level 2 standards.
- Strong background in BIM documentation is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Expertise in Autodesk Revit, project collaboration platforms like Viewpoint or Dalux (or similar Common Data Environments), Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Lumion, and other visualization tools.
- Possession of a tertiary qualification in construction, computing, or a related field.
