Job description
Overview
We are collaborating with a fast-growing construction firm engaged in data center, pharmaceutical, and industrial projects across Ireland and Europe. An opening is available for a BIM Coordinator working at our client’s office in Kildare, with travel to various project sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to develop collaborative 3D models and associated drawings.
- Coordinate with BIM Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Project Supervisor.
- Input detailed model elements, including graphical and data components.
- Conduct clash detection and prepare weekly clash reports.
- Organize and monitor incoming/shared BIM models.
- Create images and drawings as per Project Manager requests.
- Perform BIM modeling and creation mainly using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical elements along with asset data.
- Generate as-built drawings and models.
- Produce Asset Information Models.
- Deliver BIM tasks for both active and tender projects.
- Develop AutoCAD mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Prepare report visuals using BIM renders.
- Follow company safety policies and quality management systems rigorously.
Candidate Requirements
- Mechanical or electrical trade background is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in IT, particularly Revit, Navisworks, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- At least 3 years of experience working with BIM, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Proven experience in coordinating mechanical and electrical services.
- Competence to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address coordination challenges.
- Familiarity with point cloud data is advantageous.

This position involves adhering to the company’s Safety Statement and Quality Health and Safety management systems, along with all internal policies and procedures. The role is based primarily in Kildare, with travel to various project locations anticipated.
