About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join a reputable construction and development firm located in Essex, focused on residential, education, regeneration, fire remediation, decarbonisation, and retrofit projects. This permanent, office-based position offers a salary range from £50,000 to £75,000 per year.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility involves crafting persuasive and client-centric tender submissions, managing the process from the identification of opportunities through to final submission.
Requirements
- Possession of APMP Foundation qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in bid writing or proposal management specifically in the construction sector.
- At least two years of experience in technical writing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the construction bid lifecycle.
- Exceptional skills in writing, verbal communication, and editing.
- Capability to handle multiple bidding projects and meet tight deadlines concurrently.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
