Job description
Overview
We are looking for a Data Analyst to enhance the commercial and operational efficiency of our airline. Your role will involve leading data product management, facilitating advanced analytics, and supporting development of datasets. Utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Power BI, you will transform complex aviation-related data into scalable data products that generate significant impact.
Key Duties
- Provide data as a service by creating reusable, self-service data products accessible across the organization.
- Serve as a liaison between business teams, particularly Customer Experience units, and technical teams by converting business requirements into GCP-based data product and technical specifications.
- Consult business units on formulating analytical questions, structuring experiments, and employing data to address operational challenges.
- Promote data governance best practices, self-service business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making strategies.
- Analyze complex passenger and customer journey data to identify trends for strategic insights.
- Assist the Customer Experience BI Manager in executing assigned projects and objectives.
- Create insightful dashboards tailored for the Customer Experience department.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven background in roles focusing on Power BI, Alteryx, and SQL.
- Experience in data analytics with a focus on data product development or serving as a product owner.
- Prior exposure to Customer Experience and customer journey analytics within the airline sector.
- Strong proficiency in handling and analyzing large volumes of data.
- Experience presenting business performance insights to middle and senior management levels.
- Ability to apply systematic and logical methods to solve problems creatively and effectively.
